May 15: Chocolate & Wine Pairing
Gather your friends for a special evening of international chocolates and wine. We'll enjoy and compare chocolates from all over the world while learning how chocolate is made from bean to bar. Then we'll take five different international chocolates and pair them with a variety of wines specially selected to bring out the flavors in both. Downtown Littleton chocolatier Chocolates by Mary Carol and I present this extraordinary evening of education and entertainment. Start by sampling 8 chocolates from around the world. Learn how to eat chocolate properly while comparing flavors, scents, and textures. Next, we'll pair four different artisanal wines with special chocolates made with nuts, spices and dried fruits, custom-created to enhance the flavors in both the wine & chocolate. Nov 2008: Cruising for Chocolate
It's cruising time again as I take to the high seas for a series of chocolate seminars for those who require a unique environment for optimal learning. This fall's adventure requires a trip to Syndey, Australia with Royal Caribbean Cruises. More "tough" work for chocolate enthusiasts.
